SWC series MEMS Circulator
The SWC-series circulator is a silicon-based MEMS process circulator chip manufactured using semiconductor fabrication techniques. Compared to traditional microstrip circulators, the SWC-series circulator offers miniaturization, lower insertion loss, and superior consistency in microwave performance.

Outstanding microwave performance
The SWC series circulator utilizes silicon-based SIW waveguide technology, where microwave signals propagate within the chip in the TE10 mode, rather than the quasi-TEM mode in traditional microstrip circulators. Thus, the SWC series circulator has some advantages which are similar to waveguide circulator:
- Lower insertion loss compared to microstrip circulators operating at the same frequency, particularly in the Ku/Ka bands and above.
- Higher power handling capacity, with typical ratings of 50W in the X and Ku bands, and 20W in the Ka band.
